Welcome to our Archery Website!! Our Archery site originated with the need to make more information available to people starting out with this fantastic sport. The emphasis is heavily on Traditional Archery ( versus Modern Archery with the Compound Bow ). You will find a large introductory section on Traditional Archery, what you need to start and where you may go to participate in the sport. However, we offer the youth in our area the opportunity to participate in archery in all styles - for free. We currently have a huge group of young archers, both the modern style as well as the traditional style; we have more than 20 bows available free of charge in the different styles, with tuition, for our youth to experience the sport, see whether they like it, make up their minds first before they decide in which direction they'd like to pursue further opportunities. Our on-line shop is aimed at making the necessary equipment accessible to our Archers. Advertising a competion is always troublesome - how to get the necessary information to potential Archers, do email shots, etc. We designed the website as a place to enter competition details, to enable one to send sms messages to Archers with a simple reference to the site for details. From there the need quickly materialised for more advanced stuff - we now offer Archers the opportunity to register, enter their contact information and indicate whether and how they'd like to be informed on Archery events, as well as the opportunity to use the site for what we use it for - to make information available to others on competitions / events taking place!
